A modern Day Witchhunt

It seems where-ever we turn that there is discrimination in some form or fashion. Like all forms of discrimination, religious descrimination appears to be alive and well, rearing its ugly head everywhere we go. One of my co-workers was made to take off the goddess symbol around her neck because it was "offensive". Ok, lets look at that for a sec. I take offense to people preaching at me, and wearing crucifixes, because it goes against what I believe in. So because it is offensive to me, they should require the christian folks to remove their crosses right? And while we are at it, lets ban all the pentacles, and any reading material related to religion at all. I bet that would go over really well. So since none of that other stuff is bound to happen anytime soon, why are witches being descriminated against? It just makes no sense to me at all.

Tis the whole thing about people being afraid of that which they do not understand. Organized religion has more or less taught the people following that belief that we are "evil" and "satanic" etc etc etc. The thing is that there is no devil in the Craft. If people want to get a good sense of what the Craft is actually supposed to be like they should watch "Practical Magic". It is the closest thing to the way it is supposed to be.
